From my parents: The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood and a pair of jeans. I knitted my mom a mancala set and gave my dad a jazz CD.
From my boyfriend: Stitch 'n 'Barneys Girlfriend' (knitting book) and The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook I gave him a pair of slippers.

Amongst other small things, I got an Ibanez Black V70 Acoustic Guitar , and using the cash that I got from various people, went out and bought a Samsung Digimax A400 digital camera at Future Shop's boxing day sale.

Stood for 20 minutes in the cold until they opened at 6am, and got it for $179.99CDN.

Other than that, nothing big, a Melitta Take Two Coffee Maker, some shirts, a Roots beach towel (The brand probably won't mean much to non-canadians), and some Jelly Bellys. I'm happy.

I got a brand new pair of Ski Boots, I just don't talk about what I got for Christmas since that's what it's not about.

Not for me, I have yet to run away from it (dentists scare me).
As for cleaning, it leaves my teeth exceptionally clean. Can't really compare it to a dentists cleaning as I've never had to have one done, but really, I think it'd probably be comparable to it.
