Only seems to happen in firefox and only on the first load

the copyright appears half way up the page (actually at the position of the min-height) instead of at the bottom of the content, any idea why and how to fix it?

a try. It did the job in my Firefox (see attachment). I hope this code doesnt screw up the page in other browsers. :-"

will take a look thanks. I didn't actually originally build the site, although I have spent the last 2 days drastically cleaning it up.

that sort of worked, it had to be in an inline style not in the style sheet, and it was broken in IE. I changed the HTML to have a container for the body and copyright & I seem to have figured it out
