Howdy all,

Well my partner in web design has just purchased the range of products to get a gaming site up and running, which will be supporting a large community of players and developers of a large perminant world using the Neverwinter Nights game. I was going to go with a fully modded version of phpBB which I was about 70% finished coding .. and we decided to give Invision a good try-out.

So now, I need to start looking at the MOD community and see what else is out there that can be bolted on. My immediate needs are a simple auction addon (no money actually involved, its all for items made/found in game, with gold coin paid in game), a dictionary, weblinks, downloads, the usual stuff.

I'm also going to look at porting a few mods out there to suit if I cant find anything, like the Arcade module for SMF and if there are no auction addons .. the phpBB auction code.

So, any advice, pointers, etc?

Oh, and I have a fairly nifty SMF/phpBB theme I'll be busy porting across also .. will release it to all once its done.

there are plenty of mods out there for IPB to do the things you want.
Check out somewhere like Invisionize

If you're going to install those modules you might be interested in Module Skin or some of the other InvisionHacks.

laughing.gif I've had the nick Wyld for longer than I care to admit, and when a mate of mine showed me www.wyld.com.au I just cracked up. I couldn't resist making an avatar from one of their *cough* products.
