Does anybody have a way to show the admin where the invisible marked members are roaming about ?
I can see them in the member list but clicking on them shows them as offline, this i think is odd, as they are activly doing something and i want to know in specific cases.
Thanks innocent.gif

Well, you can use the last click function in the Statistics Section, this will Display exactly what they are doing if you are a root admin.

I don't see that, i have 2.03
I guess, it doesnt exist, too bad, i dont see why this is not there for admins, to me that is important than tracking known troublmemakers.
Same as with guests to see where they are.

It's been a feature of IPB to Root Admins since the year dot, click the "Last Click" link in the Who's Online area and it will show you what they last did.

Fogive me, I feel dumb now
I see it on the bottom under Board Statistics, who is online but no Last click.
Is this supposed to be a feature only IF everyone is allowed to see who is cruising where?
I have that disabled.
Root admins have all permissions though.
I just went through the permissions , enabled and disabled, there is no change for a user when i do this

Allow users to browse the Active Users list?
doesnt have an impact, i think, i need to fill out another support ticket :">

Ok, i know, see that the last click function is ONLY avilable when Allow users to browse the Active Users list? is enabled, this should also be avalable when this is denied to Admins at least, this is what i was looking for.
However, the problem remains, if i disable
Allow users to browse the Active Users list?
You can still as a member click on the name and it shows you where they are, is this correct?

I think, there needs to be an option added to prevent this in
User Profiles, where an admin can disable show status.

And a feature added to admin, to show status last click etc.

Does IPB Not have a feature to allow certain functions such as this to be ONLY visible to Admin ?
I mean, c'mon, i can see the invisible one but am not capable of seeing their whereabouts........is sometimes nessescarry for proactive observation.

some functions are global functions... some are group specific.

To have every single item be group specific would be crazy... you can always mod it.

Why don't you just skin out the "last click" link for regular users and leave it for admins using html logic... easy solution

Of couse it makese sense, to those that are afamiliar on that proceedure.
And no, functions that are to all other goups restricted should be accessible either way to Root Admins.

Looks like a bug to me.

If admins can view the whereabouts of invisible users in the online list, then IMO they should be able to view the same information in profile view original.gif
