When I saw the title I thought this was a topic about the Liberals. :-"

The Mad Hatters' Tea Party will be taking place at Howling Laud Hope's Howling Hostelry, the Dog & Partridge in Yateley on the 26th of March. Bring your hats, your musical instruments, a half-hundredweight of custard, and a nice big yak.

We will, of course, be devoting considerable time and effort to co-ordinating the election campaign, partaking of the local beverages, and (possibly) sending that nice Mr. Bliar a Good Luck card.

They've got my vote laughing.gif laughing.gif

Ahh the Monster Raving Loony Party, the UKIP of the 70s.

We will issue a 99p coin to save on change.

It is an ironic party, for which people vote if they don't like any of the other parties. Don't worry - they'll never get into power tongue.gif

I sent this to my friend and he replied with: "it's not funny, their leader committed suicide".

...but it is funny!! biggrin.gif

They almost won a by-election once, they came in second I believe but usually they lose. During the Hartlepool by-election only the English Democrats got less votes than the Looneys (the Looneys got 83, the EDs got 14) a fact that amused me no end.

However in terms of jokes parties I find preference in the Church of the Militant Elvis Party, a party that wants to overthrow capitalism for turning Elvis into a fat media joke. KEEP FIGHTING BROTHERS!
