I've been running a successful phpBB board for the last 18 months or so, over 3500 members, 150k posts and now more importantly over 4800+ images stuck inside a Smartor Photo Album Addon. I sincerely do NOT want to have to manually port these images over 1 by 1...

Surely there must be others that have jumped ship from phpBB to Invision in the same predicament? Does anyone know of a convertor to import the files/db table across into Invision?

Thanks for the Link, but I have already contacted the support and was really really disappointed (not very kind answer at all).

Btw the answer was just "nope". So I'd liked to give it here a try..

We have a Coppermine converter, however that's about it for right now. Developing conversion routines takes a LOT of time and effort (it is not always easy to convert things from one system to another) so we weight the cost/benefit ratio of writing a new converter carefully. I know it would be nice to convert your albums over (I know I personally wouldn't be willing to resubmit thousands of images manually), however on our end if we only have one customer who needs this conversion routine, the amount of time (and cost) it would take to develop such a routine isn't always worth it.

The best I could recommend is to submit a ticket to the conversions department asking if they might be able to develop one for you and at what cost if so. Or you could also check with custom services companies about writing a converter. original.gif

Ok, good to hear about the Coppermine Convertor. It's maybe possible to try converting the phpbb album to coppermine and afterwards to ip.gallery.. fault-prone, but better than doing it manually.. I have to think about. The thing is that I really like ip.board and want to get rid of phpbb.

Thanks for answers.
