Hi
What do you think if one could disable a user's signature for some time.
We have a rule that signatures aren't allowed to be over 30kb.
And we'd love a feature to disable the signature from MCP and ACP for a limited time...
Hope I got that straight

I think it would be better, if you could move a user to a certian group for a limited amount of time, and then he gets moved back again.

I think that would ne to much work... it's easier to disable the signature for a cartain time per Mod & Admin Option.
Plus we have a special group setting which wouldn't work with your idea...

I don't see the need or usefulness. If members are beaking your sig size allowment a mod to limit the size would be a better suggestion.
Otherwise I thinks Swords suggestion is way better and more useful.

Maybe I'm not understanding something here but why don't you just limit the size of signatures in the AdminCP to begin with? It's already an option:
ACP --> System Settings --> View General Settings --> User Profiles --> "Maximum length (in bytes) for user signatures"

as far as I'm concerned there's only an option to limit px. size & length

Okay, so you meant you don't want to allow images in signatures that are over 30kb? If that's the case, this makes a little more sense.

yes... that's what I ment...
Of course with the option to enter the Size in ACP
