Payton
Hey there everyone... I have been working on this for a while, and I would really love some critique from everyone around here.

Tell me what you think --> http://www.everglademedia.com/

Thanks original.gif

I like the design, but the content seems a bit, er, cluttered? ermm.gif

I had noticed this too on the home page, but not really thought about it. Thanks for pointing it out IAIHMB original.gif

I think it looks very fresh and professional. Its very easy on the eyes, and the content is easy to read. Maybe a few things could use a switch on the main "home" page.

All in all, I like it. Great work, Payton.

What happened to Kepajo?
Kenny Pollock
Well Kepajo was the combination of Ke(nny), Pa(yton), and a third guy (Jo)hn... now it's just Payton and I. We thought a new name would give us a better image and a clean start. We've been working crazily to get our site up, our clients' work done, and a side project (a client center for us) done.

I noticed a.linkarrow, which changes background image on :hover. I'd recommend using one image with both states in it, then just changing background-position.

Thanks, I will probably do this if I decide to keep the arrow, I'm just trying it out. I do know of this method.

What is so funny?

Nothing, it's just that I linked to an example of my own...
Brendon Koz
@Veracon: In your example, you might want to let users know that Internet Explorer (as of v6) still requires a pre-load for image rollovers using the hover element in CSS. I haven't tested it on Opera or Safari.

-edit-
...I forgot to comment on the site. Oops! original.gif
I have a personal pet peeve about websites that don't use 100% of my screen's width. So, other than that annoyance, I like the simplicity yet softness of the design. It's almost elegant. The only suggestion I would have is for your "Contact Us" page, dealing with a lot of uneducated computer users (and internet lovers), using an image as a replacement for the button on that form looks REALLY nice, but I think without having some sort of border around the image, it would confuse some people (i.e.: people like my dad: "What do I hit?"). Otherwise, well done.
Kenny Pollock
Thanks for the comments, looking to some things. It was sort of rushed, so we need to refine the rough edges wink.gif
Payton
Yeah, thanks for the comments guys original.gif I took into consideration the comments about the home page looking too busy and cluttered, I changed a few things and it's getting there. More comments are appreciated if anyone feels like it original.gif Thanks!

What can I say? I love it? Yes, I do biggrin.gif

Might want to have a look at the design in MacIE 5.2...

Also looks wrong in NS4.*, but users of NS < 5 don't deserved seeing good sites either way. laughing.gif
Starnox
I don't know any mac users which use IE for Mac, its the worst browser for mac ever! I don't really know why they still ship macs with it now that they have safari o.O

Couldn't agree more, but as Dave Shea says:
QUOTE
Internet Explorer 5.2 (Mac)
Yes. The whole world isn’t on OS X yet. Safari, Firebird, and Camino don’t like OS 9. Though its rendering engine (Tasman) is aging, it’s still remarkably good. It’s really not that hard to support IE5/Mac. So I do.

I am most likely just going to use a hack so MacIE shows no style at all, then maybe a divider (display: none) which reads 'Get away from that browser, yo!'. laughing.gif
Starnox
The whole world should be shot tongue.gif, we are getting onto the 4th version of OS X wink.gif
