Full Version: Include only members in "most online" stat

For some reason, users seem to like the "Most users ever online" stat on the main page. However, it seems to include guests, which seems to include bots, so my small (400-member) board shows stats like "53 people online at 5:29am."

Any reasonably simple way of restricting the stat to only include registered members?

Correct me if I'm wrong but would not "hide bots from users online list" do this? Just go to the search engine spider options. I've never tried it because I like seeing when the search engine spiders are there, but I think that may do what you are asking.

He does not want to add more and get them logged better.
What he wants is for the users online statistic to stop including them.

if you ad more bots in your admin cp they will show as one, not as a lot. try add inktomi
