Currently, my community is using the Invision Portal built into IB 2.0.3 as our home page:

As you can see, we've tweaked the templates to make it a bit nicer looking, and are making use of the Favored Sites box in the Admin CP for the Invision Portal to handle certain content blocks. We've also figured out how to transform RSS feeds generated from ssi.php into stuff we can show on our homepage using feed2javascript, so we can just cut and paste small 2 line javascripts into the Favored Sites box in order to automate content based on our forum topics.

Now, what I would like is a way to display items from our board calendar on our portal as well, such as the next 5 events or something. Right now we are keying in stuff in the Favored Sites box manually and its a pain in the ass.

Anyone been able to do that yet?
