Hi, m8, I want to enable my email function of ipb, I want to use phpmai, but I don't know where to start, does anyone can help me? thanks.
Admin CP > View All General Settings > Email Set-up

It's been already installed if your webserver is PHP ready.
you may have to enable it in php.ini if you have a dedicated server, if you are on shared it has been most likely enabled.

thanks, m8. can you tell me the details about it in php.ini? coz i know nothing about phpmail.
I think that it just uses the board config "php" using the account information you supply to send out the mailings?
