I definitely like the new ideas of IPB 2.1 ... I am looking forward to the new RSS feeds and the ability to give permissions to admins in the ACP.
But how is this going to affect our skins I seen there is work being done on the tamplating module, so I am most sure that mods are going to need to be redone.
Please tell me you are not changing the skins in anyway!!!
We pay good money for the skins and if you guys change the templates everytime you make a new version of the forums. Well that just sucks!

The skins will be changed a bit... from what I've read.

As it has been stated, only a few items have been added (totally new templates, no adding into existing necessary) and renamed templates are all the changes. The installer script will update as necessary,
(BTW... Search Function

If you were to look at past topics in this forum about this issue you would find quite a few answers.
However, skins will not be changed too heavily. You will need to add a few things here and there for the new features, and the new IPS Kernel but besides that nothing really.
Also Matt said the installer for IPB 2.1.0 will take care of most of it. Shouldn't be too much of a problem...

As I have said before, the skin changes will be minimal. There may be changes to HTML logic. A Skin upgrade/Conversion script may be provided.
