hi,i need help,someone needs FTP access to my forums and how do i get them that,they say i need FTP information but i don't know what that means!please could someone help thanks... :charles:

thanks but what information is this? is it like a few numbers or a word or a whole page of work.

in most cases it the same as the login you got when you regested with them or what you use to access any sort of control pannel or to upload your website in the first place.

my website has been created by freewebs but i bought a domain (.com) off another company does that mean freewebs is my host to use FTP or is the company i bought .com off the FTP information i need?

Yes, you should have the FTP information from FreeWebs. If you don't, ask them what it is.

FreeWebs may not have FTP access. Most free hosters don't.

I just checked Freewebs. You have to sign-up for FTP access.
