I have a homepage where I keep track of how many users are online... this also is tracked thru the rest of the website, except in the forums...

I want all of my site to be using the IPB on-line users counter...

I am new to IPB and was wondering if some has done this...


(1) I would need to add some code to my Homepage.php so it would add the users to the IPB tally of users
(2) Add some code to display total on-line users (outside of forums, I don't need to know users/guests)
(3) Add some code to identify where they are, when looking at users within IPB -- Outside of Forums is good enough.

I am new to the way invision works, and the code is confusing to me as compared to the other forums I have used, with time... , anyway any help getting started is appreciated.

I'll have to take a closer look at it, but does it allow me to count my Homepage as part of the total users, or just show total users on the forums?

Thanks it's a start, and I needed it.

I can send you an API I made for this. Its built for my CMS, but should easily incorporate into whatever system you use.
