Why? Sorry, but I don't get why you are frustrated. I've read a lot of topics there you stated this. I personally see no reason to get frustrated at all.
I don't get why you wan't test a alpha version on your Board? The Team is here to do this for you.
And don't get me wrong but why the hell you don't wan't install mod's until IPB2.1? This make no sence.
When 2.1 is released and 3.0 is announced you are one of the persons which says: "I will not install a mod until 3.0 is out, give me a dev 3.0 asap " .

Heh, I was just joking with the last comment. I probably won't even upgrade my board until 2.1 final is out because I don't feel like reinstalling my few but annoying to install mods.

With the 2.x module system it should be easy! And 2.1's module system will be even easier! So when you go to download a mod, you need to point them to the docs area where the "How to make a mod for the IPB Module System"!
(And those should work with the "Legacy System" Matt created )

openID's current implementation is very flawed, it would be like giving your master board admin your password to all other sites using openID , so you'd better choose a trustworthy board to start with .

I was just chcking out OpenID (from the link on your website) and it looks like an awesome project. Are you currently one of the developers of it?

Actually no, I just thought it was a good idea and decided to implement it on my personal site ( which is currently broken :/ ). Brad Fitzpatrick from Livejournal originally came up with the OpenID concept.
