Delphi
Hello,

My name is Stephen Corona, representing SwirlDot Hosting LLC, a small web hosting and project development firm based in Naugatuck, CT.

Currently, we have a position open for a part-time, 10 to 20 hours/week, PHP4 programmer to work on client projects. We are looking to pay $12 to $20 per hour depending on the canidates experience and capabilities. We are not looking for someone who knows everything but we need someone who is moderately experienced, honest, hard working, and who has the time to take on such a job. Our schedule is flexible so long as you are able to meet daily deadlines and such you can work any times that you please. We are looking for someone 18+ in the US. We are very serious about this position so we are only looking for dedicated and serious canidates. Phone contact is a must and you must be avaliable on AIM or MSN when you are working. Ideally, the canidate can begin working by July 11th.

If you are interested, please send all resumes and inquiries to steve@swirldot.com. I look forward to hearing from some great canidates.

Thanks,

Stephen Corona

Wish I knew more PHP. I've done some stuff in Perl and a little bit in PHP, but I'm not sure I'd be good enough to be working on client projects as of yet.

By the way, always good to see another Nutmegger. biggrin.gif Am from Manchester myself. original.gif

Just a word of caution regarding Steve Corona:

I recently contracted Steve to perform some PHP work on a small project (with the opportunity for it to turn into a long term project) and I am currently in the process of trying to retrieve my money through PayPal. Steve's expected completion date was yesterday, and no communication has been received from him since last Wednesday. He promised a demo of the project at the end of last week, I have no physical evidence he has even started the project.

When I began to get nervous and started digging up Steve's history I unfortunately uncovered other such stories: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.p...ht=Steve+Corona

People can make their own judgements, but I caution you before doing business with this person. I just wish I had done a little more digging before I entrusted Steve with my money.

Regards,
Jacob Wheeler

PS: Steve, was this job posting to hire someone to complete the job I contracted you for? (the one you had all the experience for?)
