I like IPB, but I can't see myself wearing an IPB shirt.

Im on it, but i voted 10$ because i also need to pay for some transport from UK to Denmark wink.gif

But it is a good way, to advertising IPS all over the world, it is not anybody that got them self IPS Shirt
.Wolfie
Nuke, I got the idea from you. laughing.gif

A good idea you made there too.

Yes i know, an i thing a IPS Shirt will be great, i just hope that we can work something out with IPS... cool.gif

But if 10$ is not enough i will pay more, for a shirt like that...
.Wolfie
They could also do caps, turtlenecks, blazers, etc. biggrin.gif

Oh oh oh.. I know, since Nuke (and I) came up with the idea.. We should get a couple of promo'd shirts/caps. original.gif

I saw in the other topic about mouse pads..

How about IPS screen savers and wallpapers (that comes free to IPS customers in their download center as a bonus if they purchase something additional like a shirt, mouse pad, etc).

Oh oh.. Mugs are always a good item, as well as sports bottles and lunch boxes (for parents to give their kids).

Shirts, caps, mugs, mouse pads, lunch boxes, sports bottles, turtlenecks, blazers, sweatshirts/pants.. Gold mine!

Ok who's the weirdo who voted $20?!?
.Nuke
I thing we just shout stick to the shirts, or else IPS is going brok just to make all this crap wink.gif

But a IPS Shop will be great so we can buy some IPS thing's

I think it is .Kris biggrin.gif He loves the shirts wink.gif
.Wolfie
How would they go broke? They start a line of shirts, the shirts sell well, they start another line (or two) of products... Each time taking pre-orders first.. Have more to offer discounts with as well as offers like "buy a perpetual license today and get a free item of your choice from the store"

I don't think it is cheap to make a shirs here an there, the best way
is for IPS to buy 50-100 at the time, an if they don't sell them, it
will be a wast of good money, can you feel my on that.

They can always do pre-orders. Then they can order larger quantities and get them for cheaper, increasing their overall revenue on it. original.gif

they could outsource it biggrin.gif

Anyways...its not that difficult as it seems...I am doing the merchandizing for an online mart..we are manufacturing t-shirts, envelops, catalogs, caps, mugs, toys, lollipops, and letterheads. Its quite cheap when you get it outsourced ya know biggrin.gif

Could even have an affiliate setup too. Refer people to the store (or to a product) using an affiliate ID, and get credit for any sales. biggrin.gif

By the way, I still wish I knew who it was in that picture in your signature.
.Nuke
In Denmark it costes a war just to get a shirt with you name on. Because of or tax sad.gif
.Wolfie
Oh another idea.. Pay extra to get your name on the shirt you order w00t.gif

P.S. Everyone rate this topic a 5 so that it can get more support and we can get our shirts..

Well I dont exactly remember but there is a site which actually makes merchandise for community websites, ofcourse people get it purchase from them..one has to specify the design to them. And yeah running a store is free..they will give some commision to the store owner original.gif Maybe IPS can use it the way it uses its affliate system.

Hmm... devil.gif

If I remember correctly, years ago there was an IPS/IPB CaféPress store and they closed it.
.Wolfie
Exactly.. Like I could put a couple of item listings on my site, and if someone clicks it and orders it, I get credit for it, and then I could either get money directly, or it could go towards another license, or a product, etc. biggrin.gif

It would be wonderful. Have banners and such.. I'm sure that Invisionize would make use of it too. laughing.gif Not that I would blame them.

My god, I'd love a shirt like that! $10, or £5, I'm from the UK. >_>
.Nuke

.om
pound value is higher than a USD, thats why he said 5 against a 10 original.gif

I think the internet can do a better job of global advertising than a bunch of sycophants in shirts laughing.gif

Ok, I take back the 'sycophants' slur (it was uncalled for) but you guys know what I'm saying... NO - EW! YUCK! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!
FLGN

Official (IPS)
Unofficial (Long Zheng)

And quite a ways back, IPS themselves had shirts made that they sold. Charles seemed to be in charge of that.

You disappoint me Wølfie. My avatar is a simple illustration of the name of my home town. It's not something I would wear myself... hmm... then again it is something I would wear! It wouldn't make me look a nerdy sycophant like an IPS shirt would.

Go for it Wølfie, get your shirts made... but keep them away from me biggrin.gif

EDIT: Seriously - an avatar is one thing, wearing a nerdy shirt is something entirely different.

I'd wear one! biggrin.gif

What? An IPS shirt or a Red Sox shirt?

I'd certainly wear a Red Sox shirt original.gif
