It was posted on another site that the Apple HQ is a field, the twin towers still exist, and someone even said london was missing, on their 'world'. unsure.gif

The whole of the london area does appear to be missing laughing.gif

Yeah, the World Trade Center towers are indeed still there.

Pretty useless for me. Won't go anywhere near my town. Seems pretty useless for Britain.

Regardless of who made it, it seems extremely useless (for Europe atleast), and the interface is bad enough.

Doesn't go anywhere near my hometown.. ermm.gif
Google Maps also seems a bit smoother in navigation.

I believe you can with Google Earth, but you need to pay for the full version.

Google's images look far better, and it is much more detailed in my area.
Aaron S
I get the same amount of detail with both.

Not bad; had Google not come out with Google Maps you would have never seen this service from Microsoft.

Hasn't it been out for awhile? I thought this was just the updated version.

I have Google Earth, which I downloaded before it went paid. It works fine for me and lets me zoom in to within 1000 feet of the roof of my apartment building (which at that point it is somewhat clear but not the clearest it could be). It does hog some resources but I have plenty of RAM (1gb to be exact).
Crazysah
I like this version but I have to say that Google Maps is better than this.

The pictures are at least ten yeas old. My place of employment is an empty field in those pics.

Uh, maybe Hitler has moved to San Diego. Just near to top of that state, you can see rocks followed by blue. Blue = freeze. Rocky thing = the hell fire. shocked.gif
