Hello there,

A specific user can't log in anymore. Wherever we try to change name, password etc. nothing happens.
Now he is stuck and he's waiting for me to do something. What can I do?

Thank you.

Thanks my friend but I'm not that kind of fool not to know that. That happens only to one person. I made many tests on my computer with other members and it only happens to him. It must be something else. By the way, nice cookies.
.Kris
Something with his browser did you ask him what he uses?

Then it must be that member, and the way he has configured his settings...
J-Man
I made many tests on my computer myself, with his username
and with other members too but it only happens to him.

Anything i try to do with his profile it won't let me log in!! wink.gif

I don't know why you guys mention that user all the time. I'm telling you that I'm trying to log in myself with my browsers and can't log in with his user name or anything else I try.
My friend, 2be1ask1, if you know something tell me and don't give me the cookies bull.
That story with the cookies is for little kids and stop playing with photos. thumbsup.gif

Calm down.

What version?
.Kris
With that attitude you wont get help at all. And man to bad I am not a kid, I wish! sad.gif

When you have a big problem, and for me it is a big problem, and people don't understand what I'm saying and I need to make 5 quotes for them to understand, what do you want me to do?
I'm not going to waste my time to write the same thing over and over. If you do know it's cool, if not, again it's ok. Some people don't have the time to write the same and same over and over again.
It's nice to make a bit of fun but business is business and fun is fun. thumbsup.gif
.Kris
When was helping you business? I totally forgot, can you remind me? I thought this was customer chat, not IPB support?
J-Man
If we come into the site and everybody has to joke around before they get an answer that's a different story.
IPB must do an announcement for that.

For me it's business that's why I paid. For you if it's a game, that's another story also.
As I see, now you're getting upset.

Let's cool down and take care of our business. cool.gif

Thanks Kris for refreshing my English ermm.gif

As I see, the whole section of this forum (chat) it's full of questions with problems that members have.
That's why I chose this section.
A couple of times that I used it in the past, I had the help I needed and very quickly.

I know that it has quite a few geniuses in here.
.Kris
I tried helping you, but then you got an attitude, not everyone can understand what others say like me, so I tend to ask a series of questions.
Baxter_jb
did you check the members coverage?

EDIT

also try logging in under their email address for one of my members they need to for some odd reason....

Delete the members profile and recreate it using a new password. Actually change the password first, if that doesn't work, delete and do it again.

You should provide more information than "help my user can't login". The number of useless replies is in proportion to the uselessness of the original question.

You're in the wrong place. If you want product support you need to open a ticket in the Client Center. This is a discussion forum for customers to share experience, information and advice. Open a ticket and have IPS solve it or hire someone to fix it for you.

My check must have been lost in the mail...
