I was just curious to hear what some people plan on using the upcoming (hopefully, but it seems a long way away at best) Invision Power Dynamic CMS for.

Personally, I've switched from Greymatter to a regular layout with CuteNews for my personal site, and now I'm on Mambo, realizing that it's pretty much crap too with various bugs, archives not working for me, and the least varied selection of skins I've ever seen without trying to develop one yourself. I plan to buy a license (one year if it's cheap enough) and integrate it with an IPB to form my new site, and that's really all I'm waiting for right now.

Anyone else?

Im not going to blow 1 grand or more on it, unless I was a big company with a purpose of it then yeah, but not now or prolly ever.

Woah, one grand... I doubt IPS is pulling an Adobe on us here, but yes, if it was above $200 I'd be giving it a no-go.

This is not going to cost 200$, I remember in a topic it wont go to high, but I think it will be around 1 grand range.

I don't think any pricing's been decided yet.original.gif

The topic was guessing the price. Matt said he had no idea what the price would be, but when pressed he said..okay somewhere between 100 to 1,000.
Unlikely to be very expensive sicne it will be likely bundled with other IPB items to sell as a Website in a Box.
