Gah! what is it with people bumping 2 year old topics lately.

I think IPB needs a way to stop topics being bumped when they get to a certain age, per forum with group overrides of course

Not to compare but vB (shh I said it) has a neat feature for old topics where you have to check to make sure you want to bump it. There would still be bumpers but I bet it would help if IP.Board had it.

That would be sweet. Of course one of these days, my ACP is going to stretch across both of my monitors.

I never seen harm in bumping old topics if the topic replier brings a new revival to the topic.

And yes (while i was searching for a free phpBB board) I started admining a ipb board on forumer too, so free forum providers are certainly a source of icnome at the end for ips.
