I realise we are beta stage etc but I thought it would be a good idea to try an import my skins to see what differences there are in preperation for getting my V2.0 skins ready for v2.1. I noticed immediately that although the sins look fine, the main problem seems to be that the text input box on for the New Topic form is missing even if you switch between RTE and standard editors. Also, there are no topic options (new DHTML menu?).

Anyone found this?

I saw a post just now about Matt planning to share template differences. Is there much difference between V2.0 and v2.1 skins or just some?

The template differences from 2.0.4 to 2.1.0 BETA 5 have been attached to the BETA 5 release announcement.

The changes outside of templates (CSS, images, wrapper, etc.) are summarized in the InvisionSkins v2.1 Transition Guide.

It's also important to note that the differences in the announcement don't show what template bits are new.

Thanks for that. Invision should have done this too at some point but for now this is excellent.
Its no surprise that V2.0 skins won't work properly in V2.1 given all the new features, template re-writes, new templates, new classes. I think the conversion of skins has definitely been played down over the last few months but that's the price you pay for so many new and revised features.

Having taken a brief look at that guide, I think it may well be worth making a new skin based on my old colours and images for v2.1 rather than trying to convert the old one, then I would be reassurred nothing was missing.
