You know, the idea sparked in my head. I was thinking, maybe we should make a convention of sorts, to showcase new software, Possibly?
I really though, would want to meet the staff and everyone firsthand, and since Ive previously arranged and coordinated conventions of different sorts, I would be happy to make a plan of action with volunteers and staff. It takes much planning, and all things would need to be sorted out, Day/Time--of course needs to be a preferable day, Location-needs to be central, and tons of other things need to be sorted. But, overall its plausible, and it would be good, for developers to showcase through presentations with powerpoint new software projects in mind, along with user feedback of new ideas, etc. Hey, if people are interested, please vote in the poll. Im up for coordinating the convention and planning it, but its certainly not a one man job/task.

If I'm correct, there already have been a couple of IPS meets in the UK. Another UK gathering is currently in discussion in the Customer forum.

Not sure about the US.

A group of customers are (trying) to organise a UK meeting Not quite as formal as what you describe, but a get-together all the same.

Oh, I did not know this, as im not a customer. I was really intending for a small meet, doesn't necessarily need to be a convention but I was intending for it to be here in the U.S. Its my intentions for it to be the primoridial(1st) meet here in the U.S. if it hasn't already happened. And who knows, with the new U.S. office open, Im sure a convention would spark interest in the neighborhood wherever it be.

We occasionally have them in the UK, and we're working on organising a new one at the moment. Just having a few arguments over where it should be held *cough*Sheffield*cough*
