Just wondering how you guys eat your fries and burger.

Fries first, well when I used to go there :-"

If I order both (which is uncommon), I'd probably start with fries since they don't stay hot very long... but I'd eat the "burger" at the same time.

Couple of fries, some soda, a bite or two or three, some fries, some soda, shall I go on?

Most of the time I'll eat the burger first and than the fries, but every now and than I might mix things up and eat both at the same time.

Both at the same time, the burger tends to be gone a bit before the fries though.

Well, I eat at Burger King, as opposed to McDonald's. I generally eat the Angus steak burger first, then the fries, and then the new Chicken Fries. I'm lucky; I have a really fast metabolism, so eating that much doesn't make me fat. (I'm still underweight, actually.)

Exactly! In our Mcdonalds, the fries are hot for all of 30 seconds, so if you don't eat them straight away they go cold and horrible.

Why limited to McDonalds? Would it be a different question if people ate at a decent burger place, as opposed to the bottom of the line?

If I'm getting a burger and fries, usually I start with the fries. They're like an appetizer. After a few helpings of the fries, I start on the burger. If I'm at a new place and I'm trying the burger for the first time, I'll start on the burger first.

McD's is utter garbage I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I suppose Burger King isn't much better, but at least their stuff tastes OK. For fast food. I like a place we have about 30 miles north of here called Hamburger Ranch, or a microbrewery 15 miles north of here called Bear Republic. I'll travel for a good burger, because I don't like fast food, but I do like burgers and fries... but only on occasion, so it's special. Otherwise it gets old. And I'll pay $10-$15 for a good thick juicy burger, REAL steak fries (more what the English call chips... "shoestring" fries are garbage), and a real ice cream strawberry shake.

I don't eat fast food as often as I did - but when I do, I normally eat the burger/sandwich first. I believe it comes my childhood when we were dirt poor. Mom and dad always "encouraged" us kids to eat the most expensive part of the meal first, so if we got full, the waste/leftovers were the cheapest part of the meal.

Brooklyn's fries at the McD's are always cold. I go to the one on 160 Broadway in the City, always eat it to go on the subway; never enough time to eat at the McD's itself.

well when i used to go to mcd's i had the burger first and then fries. now i don't go there, because their food sucks.

I usually eat the fries in the car on the way home from McDonalds or wherever I'm going... if I finish them and there is more then 2 minutes left in the trip, I'll start eatting the burger/sandwich. If I ever get to my destination before I finish the fries I eat them together.

I have this silly idea about putting the fries into the burger and then eat.
Haven't try it though coz I'm afraid ppl might look.

I am a vegitarian... so no burgers for me, unless they are "Bocca" Burgers .

Why not? I've been known to put what we in the US call chips (crisps, in the UK) in a sandwich... Fries and chips, or in the UK, chips and crisps, are both made of potato... I say go for it. It's pretty good.
