About a month ago, someone copied a list of the 100 worst movies from IMDb (or gave a link to it at least)..

But ignoring that list, I pose a simple question just out of morbid curiousity..

What is the absolute WORST movie you have ever seen? (or worst movies, if more than one)

You don't have to give a reason for it if you don't want, but if you feel you were ripped off, either financially or because it's time out of your life that you will never get back (or if you think it may have knocked years off your life), by all means, gripe if you want.

For me I can think of 3.. Well, 3½..

3½ : Spy Kids 3-D (watched it to complete the series, had some humorous moments, other than that, not worth it).
#3 - Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D
My gawd, the movie just cried, in agony, of being a rip off of "The Never Ending Story".. I don't see how even KIDS can tolerate this movie.

#2 - From Justin to Kelly
Kelly, the one redeeming quality of the movie. Other than that, it just droned on.

#1 - Invansion from Inner Earth
A friend and I rented this movie because we wondered what it was about. Had it returned within the hour. It was THAT horrible. We fast forwarded through 90% of it just to see if anything interesting would happen. Finally something did... the ending credits.

Anyone else want to unload their torture?

I'm not sure if it's the worst I've seen, but Alexander came to mind.

As I stated in the other thread, "The Blair Witch Project" is about as bad as it gets in my opinion.

And there was some other movie... I cant remember the name. There were some stupid youths who locked themselves within some sort of bunker. Could it be that it was called "the bunker"?!

But anyway, that movie sucked, too.

Manos: The Hand of Fate surely wins the 'so bad its good' category. How that film didn't win an oscar I don't know. I mean it starts out with 15 minutes of just landscape shotting, then you have Torgo, possibly the greatest character of all time, who has for no apparent reason, gigantic knees. Then there's the fantastic acting (witness how the small girl is able to go missing by simply walking through a door in the most blatant manner as her parents talk) witness The Master and his incredible evil! Be astounded by the fact that that kid spends about 6 days kissing his girlfriend in that car non-stop without apparently ever going to the toilet, eating or sleeping. If anyone wants to see the splendour of Manos, I suggest getting a hold of the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 episode with it in, as you get to see the full splendour without having to make your own jokes.

In the worst film I've ever seen that wasn't so bad it made me laugh category has to be 'Maid in Manhatten' which my girlfriend made me watch. Jennifer Lopez should be decapitated and her head stuck on top of a pike outside LA as a lesson to those with no talent who want to attempt acting and singing.

My dad and sister made me and my mum watch 'lost in translation' now that was most boring 2hrs of my life.

That's a great movie

Solaris (2002) seriously the only DVD I have ever fallen asleep whilst watching

And I didn't find Scary Movie 3 even slightly funny despite all the hype my friends gave it, and Tomb Raider was 2 hours of "what the hell?"

Titanic was the worst movie I saw. My Girlfriend at the time made me see it

Masters and Commanders- Fell asleep half way through the film at the cinema.

Can't remember the film, but I do remember wandering round a cinema for a couple of hours waiting for my friends as I was bored stiff watching this film. It was some lovey dovey affair which explains it all.
I watched some of Mission Impossible 2 last night and discovered it was just as boring as the first time I watched it, so I flicked to QI instead.

I did find some hilarious when I shouldn't have done. The ones that made me laugh were Final Destination, The Faculty and I think The House on Haunted Hill.

As you can tell, I don't remember the names of films that bore me! Might explain why I keep watching them accidentally.

The most overrated and overhyped movie for me is probably Independence Day. It was so bad I wanted to walk out but my friends were there.

Now that is an awful movie.
