My thoughts exactly! ...Though it wasn't his father, Michael J. Fox's character's name was Marty McFly. Well, his father was also a McFly, but as we meet several members of his family, Marty (MJF) is the "main" McFly.

What are the band in question? Another manufactured dance act such as N*Sync?

I guess I don't pay attention to the popular music scene... the best popular music has to offer us (which IMHO is rock/metal) isn't that great these days. So I just search on the net for independent artists similar to those I like, download their stuff, and buy it if I like it. (If I don't like it, I usually really don't like it, so I don't even keep the download.) And of course the classic rock station here is awesome, and there is a lot of talent in the 60s and 70s rock bands that are more worth listening to than a lot of new stuff I hear on the radio...

Although I dislike mcfly why on earth do people have to do this!?!?, if you don't know who the thread is about ask don't turn it into a conversation about something/someone completely different

The movie raises some interesting questions about time travel paradoxes, though.
I mean the outcome of whether or not he got his parents together must have been predetermined since he was there doing it...
Had he not been successful he could not have been trying it....
