RSS Capability

It already has the offline/online feature via admin panel. It will be group based. As for the RSS Capability, what do you mean? Like a way to extract them to the website? I am going to include some easy api functions to do that.

Error reporting goes to admins and file submitters if there is an error with that file

Submitters can see their submissions even if they cant see the category they submitted to. Just incase they wanted to edit stuff

neocodex, your second submissions works, as for your second request, I'll just have custom error reporting when they try to upload, if there is an error such as its too big, it is the wrong extension, etc.

cool , just for clarification, are you allowing the option to make files be approved before displaying them in the downloads categories? ive always loved that option

I already have that feature but when I create the add a file page, I am going to make it so it auto accepts files from certain groups settable via acp.

There is a problem, I wont be able to make infinite sub cats YET:
Cat -> sub -> sub -> sub
But I can make sub cats.

I need help creating sub cats and on:

catid
catname
is_sub_cat
root_cat_id


And I wanna get a drop down like this:

--- Sub Cat2
------ Sub Sub Cat 1
Cat2

and on and on. Ive tried everything, can someone help?

im guessing the root_cat_id would just continue to be updated when adding a new category under it. If you are trying to display this on the main acp or member view, then what i would suggest, is an sql statement pulling the categories in ascending order based on IDs. Upon recieving that row through fetch_row(), i would once again check the DB if there are any categories under that cat. you could do this quite easily with a little recursion i think.

Im going to incorporate a system where the copyright in the downloads view will turn red upon needing upgrading. It will also show a image in the acp.
