Just wondering can I copy my old 2.0.4 css file and paste over the new 2.1 css file leaving the rte etc?
I can see the new things at the bottom of the file.. rte etc.
Is all the new things at the bottom? And I can safetly overwrite what is the on top?
Sorry, I don't have a text compare tool to help me...
Thanks.

I would definitely not suggest it. Ask wolfie what happened to my site becuase of it going back to 2.0.4's css by default.
It messes a lot of things up somehow. It was more than 1 thing.
Oops I read your post wrong. Still I am not sure.

hmm.. I look through (don't have text compare tool), and find that the new addition is added right at the end...
So, I was thinking cut and paste from there.

maybe it would work. I have no clue what is wtong with mine personally. I have to keep pasting 2.1 css OVE 2.0 css. If I dont, the edit buttons mess up, my assistant messes up, etc...
Maybe it is as simple as you said though. I didnt look closely at it.

my advice would be to GET a text compare tool like winmerge and compare the two css files side by side....takes a while but its the safest bet!

I did some digging for you and found this -
QUOTE
If you use Linux you could use:
KDE:
Kompare 3.4
Kompare-Two 0.4
GNOME:
Meld 1.0.0
gtkdiff 1.8.0
Other or KDE or GNOME:
Kdiff3 0.9.88
xxdiff 3.0.4
Tkdiff 4.0.2
If you do not like them then you could
run WinMerge in WINE...

hey, thanks for the help.
I will try to ask around in ubuntu forum for help on how to install gtkdiff.
As it is not in the respository and I don't know how to safetly install it alone.
