Seems every time after I upgrade i get errors in the acp components tab.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/modules/gallery/admin/ad_cats.php on line 46
Is there something I can do before upgrading or after to clear up those errors?

I get it too. It appears the latest upgrade fux0red up the gallery even more than it was before!

This is becuase IPB 2.1.1 overwrote /sources/components_acp/gallery.php
Reupload this file from your gallery install files, and this will fix the problem.
