Invision Power Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Invision Power Board 2.1.3 for immediate download.

Invision Power Board 2.1.3 is a maintenance release and includes over 70 bug fixes as well as enhancements to the upgrade system. A full list of changed files, templates and bug fixes is provided further down this announcement.

UPGRADING

Invision Power Board comes with full instructions for upgrading. If you're upgrading a version 2.x Invision Power Board, simply upload all the relevant files listed below (or all files if you're upgrading from any version other than 2.1.2) and access the upgrade system which can be found in "upgrade/" on your board (example: www.domain.com/forums/upgrade/). Follow the instructions to complete your uprade.

If you wish for our technicians to perform your upgrade, please request an upgrade from your client center. Please allow an extra two business days for your upgrade to be performed due to the extra volume a new release makes.

Invision Power Board 2.1.3 Update

If you have downloaded IPB 2.1.3 after the date and time of this post, then you do not need to do anything as we have already updated the main download zip

Thanks to the extended testing from some of our customers, we have identified a few minor issues that we've subsequently fixed.

The attached zip file resolves the following problems:

1. Rating and Options buttons stacked on other another in topic view
2. New PM pop-up window: content area missing when using Internet Explorer
3. AJAX "in-line" topic title editing when in forum view returning a single character after editing a topic
4. Missing "lang_tar.php" file
5. Prune only option missing from the forum options "Mass Prune / Move" pop-up.

Simply download the attached ZIP file, unzip and upload the files to your IPB installation overwriting any existing files. You may need to clear your browser's cache to remove any temporary files and cached javascript files.

To fix the template issue with the buttons in topic view, you'll need to make sure that you've uploaded the ipb_templates.xml file to your root forum directory. Log into you ACP and click on the "Look & Feel" tab. Choose "Skin Tools" from the left hand menu and run the "Rebuild Master Template HTML" tool. Once this tool has run, selected the "Rebuild All" option from the "Rebuild Template Caches" tool.

This completes the upgrade.
