i don't think they'd do that to IPS live chat ... it's quite funny though tongue.gif

It's not very funny when a lot of Live Chat systems charge you each time a customer uses it original.gif
UBERHOST.NET
Very funny John, but Michael Lavrik and the people at interserver, trouble-free, and rackhost are nice folks. It's ashame to yank their chain IMHO. original.gif

The "how can I save?" part kills. Haha!

Rikki is quite right and yes people did that here too. Not only do many Live Chat providers charge per-chat you also have the cost of the staff's time being wasted.

When someone does that it just costs everyone money. Granted most younger people who have never had a real job would not get that but any adults here will understand what it's like to have someone waste your time and money.

I can only assume that most people probably think that live support chats are setup like IRC, on the company's server. But that still costs money, since stuff like that takes up a lot of bandwidth.

I did actually want to enquire about a dedicated server.
Stephen
Yet your initial conversation looks like someone who is pratting about so I don't blame them for disconnecting you.
