I have to read a 350-page book and write a fairly large paper on it; due by tomorrow morning. So what do I do to help myself?

Go and buy NCAA Football 2006. blushing.gif

This game rocks! I think I'm addicted - since going to college I've rediscovered videogames. tongue.gif

Well, there's always solutions for these types of problem. One time, I missed an entire week of exams due to a discus related head injury. happy.gif

That's what I thought. Movies are so much easyer.

Welp, I've foced myself to the confines of the wonderful library for the past 4 hours and I've finished the book, now I'm taking a quick break before I get to work on my paper.

I once waited to the last minute for my term paper in American government class (senior year). Well when I say last minute I mean the day before it was due... I ended up getting the second best grade in the class with one correction mark. The only mistake I made was how I cited a source, which was actually correct according to my English teacher fear.gif. The person that got the highest grade got extra credit because they were... uh... teachers pet wassat.gif. I seem to be very good at doing things at the last minute... I do my best under pressure I guess laughing.gif.

It’s too bad after not going to school for a while my brain is starting to rot. All those math facts are leaving my brain! Oh Nooooooooooooos! :'(

I wouldn’t call myself smart... Too many people tell me that I'm really smart... I must have fooled them because I'm actually quite dumb shifty.gif

I'm sitting in history class right now with my paper done. wink.gif It only took me about two hours to write out the paper. Now after this class I can go play some more NCAA tongue.gif

I did my dissertation (yes, the thing that forms a bulk of your degree... you know, the important thing that you spend your childhood education working towards...) in 2 weeks, including building the software and writing the 15,000 word report. That doesn't sound too bad, but the normal duration is a year.

I got an A whistling.gif

Maybe you should read sometimes though, then it will be easier to spell things correctly. tongue.gif

How could you read approximately 87 pages per hour?

Perhaps it was an interesting book? Thats approx 1 and 1/3 pages per minute, and the page size could differ (pictures, graphs, charts, etc), or it could be a very small book.
