I was thinking about making a new site for some Technology Forums (Operating Systems, Hardware, Software, Video Games, etc....). My main posters on my current forums all approve of the idea, but I couldn't think of a name for it; I came up with these two:
  • Everything Technology
  • Technologistic
But I didn't know if they were good and wanted a second opinion. Any ideas/suggestions?

Just curious, why a new website? Technology websites are a dime a dozen, unless you've got something spectacular to offer you're going to get lost in the queue. If the members of your forum approve of the idea, why not add the forums to your current forum?

Anyways, I've never heard those terms used before, if it amuses you go for it. original.gif

I have one about trivia, and now it's became apparent that nobody really liked it except for the forums, which didn't do a good job standalone. Besides, all of the [16] registered members are people that I know, so it didn't look like it had a future or like it was going anywhere at all.

My general-tech forum on my board, which is just an anything-goes area, with a bunch of forums as subjects... is called "The LAN Party". I was feeling semi-creative. But I don't care how many other tech sites are out there, I was putting up an IPB for myself and people I knew who were all on this ghetto forum, so I just put up what I wanted without caring what everyone else on the Net was or wasn't already doing. wink.gif

It doesn't really have to sound good, it just has to be obvious what it is so the average person doesn't overlook it. In that regard, your first choice is better than the second, though the second is notably wittier.
