I wonder if it is possible to stop spamming via guest posting from spam bots. Does anybody heard about resolution for this problem?

Thanks.

Have you tried hiding email address from all accounts within admin area?

If you do then none will be able sending email message via the forum but they sent personal messages.

Until invisionpower include way to prevent spam, by hiding email addresses as specified above seems the best option.

It is not the problem with e-mail addresses, becouse I have them already hidden.

What I mean is to prevent posting by spambots, who want to utilize Google's PageRank mechanism. I want to allow guest users to post but prevent spambots from posting by use of Captcha test which bots are not able to pass.

Or maybe a limitation to the number of http:// that is allowed in one post instead...

I ahve the same issue, almost every day I boot up, check out my forums and one spam message is on there with a whole load of links.
