How about making the PM system just like Gmail's conversation view? It will be like a thread, where all PM replies will be kept all together.

That, not only will make PM system better, but will also keep our inbox more organized. Of course, there will be an option to use the old-school way of PMing, as well as options for splitting/merging PM threads. Moreover, we can also have a nice and convinient "forward the whole PM thread", that will save a lot of time.
