Please excuse me if this is in the wrong place. Because I'm not a customer I wasn't sure where I should post this.

I'm having a hard time choosing which board software to go with and I couldn't find a feature that I need listed in the features on the main page.

What I need is password protected sub-forums without passwording the origional forum the sub-forums fall under.

Meaning..

I have a list of teams that might want to talk privately

They would go to the Team Forum. I'd create a private sub-forum and password that sub-forum for them.

Is this supported by Invision or if not is there another way to go about what I would like to do.

Thanks in Advance
Alex Duggan
Yes, that'scertainly possible.

Infact, you can see that in action here: http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showforum=221

Perfect. Thank you so much.

Is it standard throughout the message board community that if a software has password protected forum then it will have password protected sub-forums?
This is a "lo-fi" version of our main content. To view the full version with more information, formatting and images, please click here.
