I moderate a listserv group and would like to transfer the group to the IPB forum format, however there are a significant number of current and longtime members of the group who prefer to interact via email only. I was wondering if and when Invision will add this functionality to their package. By full email participation, I mean the ability to start a topic, post, reply, post photos, etc. via email and have these events mesh with the forum interaction, just as if the user were on the forum page.

Any idea if this is something that is being considered or is already in the pipeline?

I know it's been discussed. Only thing is, what kind of member validation do you think is really possible with a feature like this? I haven't researched it in depth (and I know Nexus has this sort of capability), but I'm curious how well you can verify a member is really that member.
