Actually all of Keane live(d) just outside my home town (I assume still do as the new album is apparently being recorded in the same place as Hopes and Fears) They're a local band, hence why they played the Hastings beer festival last summer (wish I could have gone )

I met Arkitus at the start of the first term of university. Saw him today as well. Was as easy as an msn conversation saying "You in the labs? - Yep - Which One? - Main One - Me too! - I'm in the row near the door"

Chris and I are in entirely different schools (School of Sociology, Politics and Law & School of Computing, Communications and Electrical Engineering) so we're never likely to even be in the same building

I like the name malikyte because it's a misspelling of Malachite, one of my favorite minerals (Wikipedia link). I also like the name kewlceo because it makes you wonder. Makes me wonder anyway. And Maddoktor2 is an interesting name. But there really aren't too many "cool" nicknames here. The best nicknames I've seen have come from a rock band's now-defunct board. There's one that makes me smile every time... Let's just say this guy sometimes goes by xIFALx and sometimes goes by "I ______ Avril Lavigne". I'll let you guess what the blank is. LMAO. And my old one, Dark Reality, was pretty neat, but I semi-retired it in favour of my first name.

CTerry will be in school long enough that most of the UK will have been a classmate of his at some point.

Lucky you are not at Durham - its a tiny tiny city and University - and not to mention that alot of lectures here are not confined to their buildings, some are spread across the science site, others are down the road in other buildings.

Here its difficult to avoid someone!

I absolutely love it here. Its such a nice city, and such a nice university. The collegical system is really good too - I didnt really like the sounds of it at first - but I'm really glad it is like this. Because its such a small city everywhere is walking distance, all of the colleges, all the lecture theatres, the city centre, the station etc, although some of the hills here are bloody steap!

That's @Home's fault. When I first signed up with them, I used the nick Maddoktor for my email account, which they promptly lost and then couldn't convince the DB that it wasn't in use.
Rather than screw around with account deletion and restoration, I just regged a new account with the "2" suffix and called it good.
After awhile, I came to like the uniqueness of it and use it everywhere, even if "Maddoktor" is available.
