I was looking at the SSL Certs from GoDaddy at http://www.godaddyssl.com/, but I didn't know if it was worth it to get one. And would it be better to get the one single certificate or to get the wildcard certificate?

I was looking at the single one but thought the wildcard would be a great idea, but didn't know what the benefits of both were.

Yet another lovely FIRST post... hence forth to be known as YALFP.

i think the wildcart is good if you will use the certificate on more than 10 subdomains.
10*19.99 = 199.9

Once I asked why not publicise the answer was, they don't want to confuse customers with so many products. wink.gif
I had requested through support ticket. At the time of my purchase the price was....hmmm! May be if it's not open, I should also not do that.

If I'm going to purchase through IPS I'd like to know the price of the SSL. That shouldn't be private information to know what the price of a certificate is. ermm.gif

well, I would suggest you ask their sales dept or wait for Staff to pitch in.
However you know that my PM is open biggrin.gif

The SSL certificate at GoDaddy is a good deal. Verisign is the best but it costs $$$. The only real difference is brand: Who verified you. You can even sign one yourself, but it's not as credible. It's all about credibility.

BTW: Would like to know more about the Invision one original.gif

I'd suggest submitting a ticket - though I've never heard about them offering SSL certificates.
