how about a feature that could auto-populate css fields with variations of primary colors. For instance, a drop down menu with red, blue, green, and yellow. Choosing the red primary color sceme would populate the CSS fields with variations of red for the background, rows, columns, etc. Nifty feature for the not so technically inclined!!! original.gif

A nice idea. The IPB Easy-CSS editor doesn't work at the moment to my knowledge, but if you could specify a primary, secondary and tertiary colour then IPB should be able to colour everything in for you. If you could select shades, that'd be quite cool too. Perhaps the shade selector should be a standalone tool as opposed to a built-in part of the board? original.gif

I still don't understand how and why CSS (Easy Mode) is broken and nobody will fix it. Once it's fixed, though, that's a nice idea.

It works, it just strips all comments and formatting from the CSS file when you save it, it's been like this since the 2.0 betas, no idea why it's never been seen as a priority to fix though.

Comments and such are stripped because they can't be loaded up in the same manner as css tags are parsed - it's just more backend work for no reason.

The easy css editor works. It could be made 'easier' I suppose - but then again that's a challenge to determine what is easiest without actually making it less usefull.
