Once Yearly is over you have to pay $25 for 6 months.

If you upgrade to Invision Power Board Perpetual License you get keep that for life. But only thing you need to renew is the Support for $30 for life.

Again the new prices will be out when 2.2 Stable comes out.

Its been said, you can renew the optional support and product updates at any point, the $25 is optional and can be purchased at any point.

Standard License, from my understand lets call it an "owned" license, and were in luck, IPS only sells "owned" licenses. To get support or product updates, you have to pay an additional $25 for 6 months access.

So tell me if I'm correct.

From several posts on the subject, and what Charles as said in those posts, I believe the answer to be yes.

The best thing I can say is, they are doing something similar to the "other" forum software does with their owned license. Where we can use the product for life, but only use the version we paid for support for. Meaning you cannot use a version upgrade outside of the 6 months once you have paid for it, unless you have paid for an additional 6 months or any multipler of 6 months.

Well that's optional.

That's correct. The Perpetual licenses provides you with lifetime access to upgrades (although if you do not renew support, you cannot request these to be done by IPS Staff, you'd need to carry them out yourself). So, even if you do not renew support for $30 when your first year expires, you will still be able to upgrade your board.

If you wait until the Standard license is released, you will pay $149 and get support for 6 months and then pay $25 every 6 months for support. If you do not renew support on this license though, you will not be able to access ANY upgrades whatsoever.

Hello, I've got a question.

Since the Perpetual License will be removed, will I still be able, probably through the Enterprise License, to access all future Versions/Updates/Upgrades of IPB? Since I'm not in need of most kind of support, that is what I really want.
If so, can you give me any information about the costs?

Yes

You do NOT have to purchase the support contact lets call it for the perpetual license, or the support and product license for the standard license right away. Both are optional and thus you don't have to purchase them. When you want updates on the later, you would have to pay, just a thought to consider who really needs support on both their licenses.
