I've just had a brill day and I just needed to share it to some people I didn't know.

Anywho, I managed to get in touch with someone at the BBC and organised a day where I could come in and see how my local BBC news program operates. It was so interesting, I went out with a journlist to interview someone and do a live feed from an airport. I stood behind the cameras when they were on air. And I saw news stories coming in as they happened, all over the world. Cool, eh?


I think I've decided what I'd like for my career.

Lucky you May I suggest reading any and all autobiographies by John Simpson. He writes brilliantly and you get a good insight into the life of a foreign correspondant.

Will have a look - he's that bulky looking guy isn't he? Looks like an interesting person. It was scary at first to be face to face with someone I usually just watch through the TV!
