If I set the ACP setting "Use Friendly URL's", all members have to choose if they want to use it or not. This cause confusion since it's not commonly known what a Friendly URL means.
Why is this an option, why would somebody prefer not to use Furl's?

The thing is that it is not allways possible to use the member name as a friendly url name. I might consider this a default option on Blog creation (setting). On existing Blog that do not use it, it is best to let it as is.

Maybe a help button next to it, with a pop up explaining what Friendly URLs are?

As far as I can tell, forbidden characters are replaced by underscores so it shouldn't be a problem..??

What if two people have names with forbidden characters that are the same when the characters are replaced?

A friendly URL is unique. It is not possible to create two with the same name.

Do you or anybody else know how I can make it default on blog creation?
