After literally years of paperwork and waiting on the government's United States Patent and Trademark Office to do its thing we have, at long last, a registered trademark. While our logo and name were always a trademark in the ™ sense they are now a registered trademark in the full on always fun ® sense. Expect to see ® plastered around our logos and such until the new registration smell wears off. Amazing how long this process took but we got a very pretty certificate out of it so it is all good in the end.

In other news, if you go to the IP.Board documentation page of the web site you will notice that we have added the developer documentation PDF. While the developer docs are not completed we thought we would release what we have so far for consumption. The dev docs will be an ongoing project - we will update you here whenever a new version is published.

And finally, the IP.Board demo system is back online! You can now have a look at 2.2.0 and play around on your own private demo installation. Until we get a better idea of what our demo server can handle, it's currently limited to 100 active boards. Your private board will remain active for 24 6 hours. Have a look around IP.Board 2.2.0 if you haven't already. (yes, the components of IP.Board will be added soon)

Update: the time limit on demo accounts has been reduced from 24 to 6 hours to handle the demand for private demo accounts. Information on extending beyond 6 hours is on the demo signup page. Anyone who signed up very recently will have to sign up again - sorry about that.
