Say I have 2 forums with two seperate skins and domains can converge make them use a single database instead of 2 seperate ones. Just thought it might be a clever way to grow my board quicker. Is this possible?

It shares authentication details and nothing else. Members would be able to login to both using the same login details - but posts, forums, etc. would remain separate.
