Here are some things I have been thinking about for the downloads manager:

1) Pay per Download -

An example would be someone wants to sell a skin, so they charge $25.00 for it. When the user clicks download they are re-directed to the subscriptions page where it automatically chooses that approperiate package, and they checkout either the admins validate the order or it automatically lets them download. When the order is validated then they can download what they were looking for.

Although you can do the groups thing, this might be easier when you are dealing with multiple groups and things. Also maybe you could limit the number of times a user can download a particular item, and after it reaches x they have to buy it again.

2) Different report options. Maybe a section under the moderator panel such as report options. So like warez, copyrighted cannot be shared, missing files, so in the ACP I can add a option and it displays under a Misc. Reports with the Report Type (Copyrighted Material) and the file name below it or something like that.

3) Sorting by clicking on the titles, like size, date submitted, ect

4) Adding a description so it appears under the title, so people can get a little bit more info

5) Possibly adding a license type so I can add license types and if I add a CC (creative commons) type it displays the image opposed to text, I probably could do that w/ a custom field.

6) Clicking on the submitters name shows all the files the downloaded, maybe not going straight to the profile, not big but could be helpful.

I'll think of some more.
