REALLY amazing. I had a lump in my throat because of the song and intensity of the passion. original.gif

Very impressive!

More importantly, that Amanda wench appears to be a hottie. original.gif
Jaime
Yeah Amanda Holden is pretty hot (and she's normally a blonde), I agree. original.gif
Brandon C
Wow, that guy has a wonderful voice, and the audience reacting was great too. And yes, Amanda is hot.
Digi
I wish there were people like that on america's versions of those shows. I might actually care to watch then.
Adam Kinder
WOW
I'm with Digi, if there were more guys like this on American Idol, I might actually watch it. He was absolutely amazing.

He kinds of reminds me of Clay Aiken and Rick Astley... The whole "wow, I never would have expected a guy like that to have such a great singing voice."
Stephen
As I'm sure you are well aware I hate most of these reality shows, but I've been catching some of this show the last couple of days and have been amazed at some of the talent. I think the reason I like this but not things like X-Factor etc is that these people aren't going to become massive stars simply because they've been on this show they actually have to come up with their acts themselves (plus the fact that it is only 9 days rather than 6 months wink.gif).

This one was great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoMYxoXDb48 not amazingly talent but I don't think anyone expected that nor this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZpjYd0sTT0

This one was also really really good http://youtube.com/watch?v=En0A8KGMgq8

The group of cross dressers was funny ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SPgPpTMtew ), although also quite scary. Not sure it is the sort of thing that the royal family would find entertaining though (if you didn't know, the idea of the show is to find someone to perform at the royal variety show).

I get the impression that Simon has been told to softer on this show, I mean http://youtube.com/watch?v=IromCVJUsKY isn't all that great and if he hasn't heard anything like it before as he claims I'd be very surprised since he is suppose to be in the music business wink.gif ITVs editing have been terrible though, why they insist on keep cutting away from the acts and showing Ant and Dec talking is beyond me.

Some of them have been terrible though, the 49 year old accountant who can't dance, the ventriloquist who wasn't even attempting to talk without opening his mouth and the woman who just came on an played the demo on the keyboard (although I felt a tad sorry for her with the entire crowd chanting for her to get off the stage)

On another note, I've never really read comments on Youtube before and I don't think I will again, they are absolutely disgusting in places
Jaime
Those are brilliant, particularly the puppet choir and the amazing 6 year old Conny! original.gif Thought Crew 82 were quite entertaining and good to watch - they could get any anyone going.

Speaking of terrible acts, the Shabnam (Big Brother) ranked along the worst ones too. It's amazing though that she made it into the spotlight twice on TV, though I cannot understand how or why.

Yeah YouTube does have a lot of nasty people. I don't know what it is about that place that seem to attract so many nasty comments. LiveVideo for instance is a YouTube clone yet they don't seem to have mean spirited comment posters there,
Sebastian Mares
Oh my God! Not even people who actually are in the music business already have such a voice.

The tragedy of it all is, had that man been good looking he most likely would have been a massive star a long time ago.
Debbie
Christ! He is AMAZING! I have to start watching that show!
Debbie
Oh, and embarrassingly enough, this guy is from Peterborough:

He spends his "spare" time riding around Peterborough, genuinely thinking he is some sort of a celebrity looking like this:

We all hate him. He is a loser.

I've loved watching Britain's Got Talent and so has everyone I've talked to.

It has made everyone laugh at some of the acts but to just go "wow!" at the standard of others, I'm just watching it now and the 14 year old lad singing "I'll Be There" was absolutely brilliant.

With it being not just singing but a variety of talents and the fact that there's no age limitations has made it more interesting.
Stephen
He is through to the final then.

With the noise the audience was making I think there might have been a riot if he didn't get through wink.gif
Chris T
My sister and mum watch that show religiously.

My favourite act so far has been this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPBnpsHN4_4

######ing genius, couldn't stop laughing, especially with my mum and sister's screaming throughout, they're so squeamish!

That's a great voice that guy has. Although it's not my type of thing to listen to. original.gif

ROFL Man, that just made my night.

EDIT: LMAO makes me laugh more that I'm watching it again listening to the music in the background. JEDI KNIGHT!

Show is amazing! I can't wait for tonight.

The opera singer has one a show similar to this before, I do believe Michael Barrymore was hosting it. But nevertheless he is still amazing!

Rikki
He was absolutely amazing tonight. I don't know will win - I think it's either between the little girl, or this guy. They're both incredibly special talents.
ellawella
He deserved to win. The little girl is a prodigy but she has years ahead of her in which to gain recognition. And let's face it - his voice is a lot better than hers (yes, I'm not taking into account the huge age difference).
Rikki
I still think he should have won, but it seems his backstory from the show isn't the whole story. Look at the second entry on this page for the Bath Opera House: click.

Regardless, he managed to bring tears to Simon Cowell's eyes.

He's got a fantastic voice, there's people all around the world watching his vids on Youtube.

Urgh. Embarrassing. Hate the guy lol.

As far as I am aware, Simon has offered Paul Potts a recording contract and has said he will have an album recorded asap.

To be honest with you, I think it was fairly obvious that he must of had some background with Opera, same with the girl in the final (not the youngest one) I think it is pretty likely that she is at a stage school.
