Haha thats gotta be a bummer. I run early too, I normally just have some toast w/ jelly and some juice otherwise I'll either cramp up or get hungry smelling the bakeries and coffee places opening up. Although I live near my high school I can run 2 miles and get to the track, and then I usually do some sprints, and then focus on the long distance parts.
And finally jogging 2 miles with some breaks back to my house... which I need to get back in running shape.
