I was wondering if the addition of another setting in the RSS Export manager could be possible ? Assume we add a Redirect RSS URI to display this URI instead of IPB RSS URI (?act=rssout&id=xxx).
It could enable usage of Feedburner to burn board RSS.

So, if no redirect URI is set, IPB shows internal IPB RSS URI else, IPB shows the redirect RSS URI.
It should be great and will not require a lot of work I guess.

I want to use FeedBurner as well. There is an option in blogger.com - it'd be awesome if IPB also got something like it.

And it's not painless to implement, many blog softwares have this kind of option.

You could simply go into the board header and remove "generator," then add your own <link> tags pointing to your feedburner rss.

Everything can be done manually but the interest is to automate all these tasks : you want to update all your skins with 10 feeds if you have 10 feeds ? It's a pain.
At least it's just one more field in the database.

So, <%GENERATOR%> outputs nothing else than the rss header info?

Please tell me this is going in IPB 3 ... I've been waiting for this one for a while, so that I can export more feeds.

Blogger provides this service, and tbh it'd be more useful if IPB also provided it.
