Hey guys I bought a nintendo Wii today and its awesome. I love the way it works compared to my xbox 360. The wii is more fun and does not take itself so serious like the 360.

Obviously the 360 graphics are better but the wii is more fun. I have been playing wii sports all day. Does anyone recommend any games.

The Wii is a great console I love mine. I would highly recommend Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Strikers Charged Football and if you really want to make a fool of yourself, Warioware

I also quite like Heat Seeker and Resident Evil 4, and am looking forward to Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy.

If you want a second remote it might we worth getting Wii Play, it is only a few quid more than buying a remote on its own, plus you get some silly little games with it.

I agree with what Stephen said, and I also recommend getting a Gamecube controller and playing some games you may have missed out on e.g. Zelda Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros, as they can be found quite cheap on ebay.

Hey, I have a question for you Wii-ners

I've been considering getting a Wii for the kids for Xmas, but we don't have high definition TV - does that matter? I'd hate to buy it and then find out you need a HiDef tv.

It comes with composite video cables, used on normal TVs.

You have to buy component cables for 420p usage with a high def TV.

So no you don't need a HiDef TV

Nope, it's not really a HD console so you won't lose much/anything by not having HD

hey guys. I bought a second controller and got the game with the controller I think its the one with all the silly games on it, I have not played it yet.

The wii sports disk is that just a demo showing you what sports games you can get because I would really like a more in depth tennis and boxing game. Is this avaliable on the wii

Looks fun, but #1 thing that pissed me off about the Wii was that it was the only unplayable console that my friend and I found during our "lets try out all the next-gen console" day.

They had it on showing some damn movie about playing it, I'm here to TRY it. Not watch a movie.

Wii sports is a complete game not a demo I'd imagine there are more in depth tennis games though, but I'm not so sure about boxing. Your best bet would be to look at play or amazon and see if they have any.

Wii Sports is indeed a complete game. In fact in Japan it is sold seperately from the console.

You cant play Wii anywhere over here, not in the big shops anyway, Game, Virgin, Dixons, GameStation, they all have a movie about it...

Yeah, I got it a few months ago It's a great game.

No, it works without a HDTV but if you do have one it's best to get the component cables or it will look a bit blurry.

I still need to get Strikers Charged - The thought of humiliating Chris and Stephen is just too good to be true!

Yes, Resident Evil 4 for the Wii is amazing. I previously played it when it was on the GameCube. I tell you, my accuracy rating is now in the 85-95% ranger on the Wii as opposed to about a 40% on the GameCube. I don't think I could go back. (I really couldn't I sold the GC one for some of the money I used for the Wii one).

I'm looking at buying a Wii, I wouldn't be able to play it properly at the moment though due to me having a strained shoulder and it being in a sling.
